Spring has arrived.

After a slow start spring has finally arrived at Troserch and on a sunny day the woods are alive with birdsong. The robins, thrushes and wrens have now been joined by blackcaps, willow warblers, chiffchaff and wood warblers all busily singing away and establishing territories.

Our dippers have been successful with one nest having fledged already.

Bluebells are a bit slow but prospects look good, whilst the wood anemones are having an excellent year.

Butterflies sadly are not faring too well, although we have had some brimstone and peacock butterflies lately.
