| Clouded Yellow Butterfly |
We can now add a few more butterflies to our list. Yesterday we had a Clouded Yellow resting on a honeysuckle bush at the top of "Old Josiah". Sadly I didn't have my camera with me, so after a few muted curses I had to content myself with watching it for a few minutes before it flew off and then borrowing a picture from the internet. This is a stunning butterfly that migrated from Africa just to visit our woods, and is an excellent record.
Added to this we also had a Comma and a Ringlet, as well as more of the usual suspects that we recorded last week.
