Thanks to all those who have sent details of the butterflies they have seen in Troserch Woods over the last fortnight. The Big Butterfly Count has now ended, although you can still send in previously taken records until the end of August.

From the records we have received so far we have had 14 different species seen around the woods during the Big Butterfly Count.

• Red Admiral
• Ringlet
• Clouded Yellow
• Comma
•  Large White
• Meadow Brown

We have also had Brimstone and Orange tip recorded earlier in the year
