A message for all Dormice!
There is now plenty of housing available for you in our woods. Today Ken Evans and I put up the remaing 10 dormouse boxes. There are now 50 boxes, kindly donated by CCW, that have been put up in various parts of our woods.
Dormice will soon be waking from hibernation and looking for somwhere to sleep during the day, or to bring up a family. Last year we found 2 dormice, 1 at either end of the woods using the bird nesting boxes, so hopefully this year with all the new accommodation we may be able to increase on that.
