Flashes of blue
It was nice to see a kingfisher yesterday flying downstream from the Beaver bridge. Alas not a common sight on the river but guaranteed to raise your spirits when it happens. Talking of flashes of blue, our bluebell patches around the wood are now in full bloom, but hurry if you want to see them as the bracken is already beginning to unfold and their glory will soon be gone.
